Eric Achepohl
As CEO of The Benida Group, LLC (TBG), a full-service single-family office, Eric manages a team that provides its clients with a holistic approach to wealth management. Overseeing various disciplines including investment, accounting, fiduciary, banking, legal, philanthropic, personal, and business services, TBG provides its clients a unique, elegant solution while reducing the complexities of wealth. In addition, Eric is the CEO of Millbrook Properties, a commercial real estate business of the family.
Prior to joining The Benida Group, Eric worked as an experienced manager in the Business and Tax Services division of Arthur Andersen, LLP. In that capacity, Eric managed consulting and compliance engagements for closely held business and family office clients executing various structuring and estate planning transactions.
Eric received his B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, an M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University, and graduated with a Master of Management degree from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Eric is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner®, and Certified Investment Management Analyst. He has also taught courses in finance and accounting at DePaul University and Elmhurst College.
